TEST ADMINISTRATION REGULATIONS FOR ENGLISH TESTS AT IIG VIETNAM
To ensure you have the most comprehensive and accurate information regarding taking exams at IIG Vietnam, we are pleased to provide the specific regulations as follows:
1. Important information:
- Candidates must carefully read the “Examinee Handbook” and the “Test Administration Regulations” before the test date. This information is available on the website https://online.iigvietnam.com/.
2. Test time and test location:
- Candidates must be present at the test center on time.
3. Attire requirements:
- Candidates are required to dress politely. Candidates must not wear shorts, sleeveless t-shirts, or tank tops to the test center.
4. Identification (ID) documents:
- On the test day, candidates are required to bring to the test center the original Citizen ID card/Passport (must be valid and original, do not use electronic version, photocopies, notarized copies; not peeling/torn/crumpled/cracked/broken) to enter the test room.
- If candidates are not eligible to have an ID card, they must bring a copy of Birth Certificate (the original or an official legal copy of birth certificate) and a Certificate of Identity Confirmation (with a photo, border stamp) and signature of the institution where the candidates are studying or a Student ID card (with a photo, border stamp of the institution) as stated in IIG Vietnam’s regulations on ID documents.
- ID documents must comply with IIG Vietnam regulations.
- Note: Failure to present these documents or discrepancies between the ID information and the registration form will result in disqualification from the test, and no refund of the test fee will be issued.
5. Discounted test fee:
- Candidates who register for a test with a discounted fee must present the original copy of a valid supporting document (e.g., student ID, employee card, student confirmation letter, or employment confirmation letter) on the test day to verify their eligibility for the discount.
- If the candidate fails to present the required document, or if the document is invalid or does not match the uploaded version, they will be required to pay the fee difference on the test day.
6. Enter the test room:
- You are not allowed to enter the exam room without permission from the test invigilator.
7. Personal items:
- All other personal items are prohibited and must be kept in the designated locker. Test centers assume no responsibility for test takers’ personal belongings.
- Only the original ID card/Citizen ID card/Passport, Registration Form, related documents (if requested), and locker key (if applicable) are allowed in the testing room.
8. Security check:
- Candidates must behave appropriately and follow all the test procedures during security check and ID verification. ID verification may include thumb printing, photographing, signature comparison, or other forms of electronic ID confirmation.
9. In the test room:
- Candidates must sit in the correct position as instructed by the test invigilator. Do not leave the test room until the test ends.
- In case of an emergency (such as unexpected illness), notify the test administrator immediately.
10. General regulations:
- Candidates must follow the test administration regulations and the test invigilator’s directions.
- Any attempt to obtain information about the test, discuss or distribute test content, and buy or sell the score certificate, in any form, are strictly prohibited. All violations will be documented; the violator’s test score will be canceled, and he or she will be subjected to IIG Vietnam’s disciplinary regulations.
11. Regulations on health status:
- To ensure the security of the test room and minimize cheating risks, test takers with any ear, nose, or throat issues that may cause noise and disturb other test takers are not allowed to enter the test room. They must follow the procedure to change the test date.
- Candidates are advised to change the test date and submit their medical checkup form at the registration desk no less than 1 day after the test date.
VIOLATION-HANDLING POLICIES
1. Failure to comply with test administration regulations or instructions provided by the test invigilator before, during or after the test will result in nullification of test scores and suspension of taking ETS tests for two (02) years within the Indochina area.
2. Any serious or repeated violations will result in nullification of test scores and suspension from taking ETS tests for three (03) years in the Indochina area.
3. If a test taker does not cooperate in investigating a violation or commits an extremely serious violation, they may be permanently prohibited from taking any future IIG services.
4. If any violations by an individual or the entire Examination Board are not detected in a timely manner during the test session, the Disciplinary Council of IIG Vietnam has the right to unilaterally cancel the exam results of test takers who committed the violation after the exam.
All fraud will be handled or prosecuted in accordance with applicable regulations of Vietnam law.
This regulation is effective for candidates who register for the test via the online registration system starting from April 21st, 2025. For candidates who have completed the registration process directly at IIG Vietnam's offices, please follow the instructions provided at the time of registration and noted on the registration form.
